How Breward Roofing collects, uses and protects the personal information you share when you contact us.

What we collect
When you contact us or request a quote, we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, email address (if you give one) and the details of your enquiry or the work you ask us to carry out. We do not collect special-category data, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote — our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To carry out and administer work you engage us for — performance of our contract with you.
- To meet legal and insurance obligations — compliance with a legal obligation and our legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only where necessary to respond to you or deliver your job — for example, the provider that operates our website contact form and email, and (where relevant) a materials supplier or your insurer. These providers act on our instructions, and some may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved contractual clauses apply.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards — typically up to 24 months from your last contact — unless a completed job, or a legal, insurance or accounting requirement, means we need to keep records for longer.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or provide it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last reviewed.
